A 1-on-1 online research program for middle school students. Work with a PhD mentor to explore your academic passions and build a project that is entirely your own.
Most research programs are designed for high schoolers. The Edify Junior Research Program is built specifically for intellectually curious students in grades 6–8 who are ready to go deeper than the classroom allows.
Your student is matched with a PhD mentor from a top university based on their specific research interests.
From CRISPR and prime editing to economics, finance, and environmental studies — students explore what genuinely excites them.
Every track includes dedicated sessions with a writing coach to develop academic communication skills alongside research skills.
All sessions are conducted online, making the program accessible from anywhere with flexible scheduling around school commitments.
Students learn to read scientific literature, formulate research questions, work independently with experts, and produce original work.
The ideal head start for Edify students entering high school — developing habits, skills, and a research identity early.
