The Expertise We Value

Advanced Academic Credentials: Terminal degrees (Ph.D., Ed.D., M.A., M.Ed.) from respected institutions, particularly in fields like education, literature, history, psychology, or related disciplines
Educational Experience: Background in teaching, tutoring, academic advising, or student mentorship at the high school or university level
Communication Excellence: Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues
Student Development Understanding: Knowledge of adolescent development, learning styles, and effective mentoring techniques

College Admissions Consultants

(Full-time and Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

Meet with students and parents monthly or bimonthly (every two months) to review academic and extracurricular plans
Manage comprehensive academic, standardized test, and extracurricular planning strategies
Coach and guide 12th-grade students through the entire college preparation process including selecting colleges, developing essays, and completing all requirements needed to submit college applications
Lead periodic workshops on essential student skills (study skills, time management, organization, etc.)
Maintain open and regular lines of communication with students and parents throughout the consulting relationship
Perform research on extracurricular activities including volunteering opportunities, summer programs, and special projects
Brainstorm and edit college application essays and summer program essays with students
Coach students through independent projects such as starting non-profits, small businesses, community workshops, and other entrepreneurial ventures

Essay and Writing Coaches (Part-time)

Specialize in helping students develop compelling personal narratives and strengthen their writing skills. Support students in crafting authentic, powerful application essays and guide them through the brainstorming and revision process

Academic Strategists (Part-time)

Focus on comprehensive course planning, academic goal-setting, and educational pathway development for students in grades 9-12, including standardized test planning and extracurricular strategy.

Workshop Leaders (Part-time)

Lead skill-building workshops for students on topics such as study skills, time management, organization, project planning, and academic success strategies.
